This page explains how to request deletion of your data from KarkCRM, a CRM and WhatsApp customer-service platform companies use to talk to their customers. Requests are free and require no account or login.
Send an e-mail to contato@karkcrm.com.br with the subject Data deletion and include:
We acknowledge the request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Before deleting, we confirm the request comes from the data subject or their representative: we may ask for a simple confirmation from the same number or e-mail. There is no fee and we do not ask for documents beyond that check.
If you use KarkCRM at your company you do not need to ask us: delete the lead, the contact, a note or a single message on the screen where it appears. Deletion applies to that organization's data and takes effect immediately.
When a company serves customers over WhatsApp using KarkCRM, we receive and store on its behalf the phone number, the profile name and the message content (text, image, audio, video, document and location). A deletion request removes:
If the company that served you disconnects its number from KarkCRM, we also stop processing that channel's data. Deleting here does not erase the conversation in the WhatsApp app on your phone, nor the data held by Meta, which follows Meta's own policy.
Backup copies are overwritten in the normal cycle, within 90 days of the deletion. We also keep, for the period the law requires, application access logs (article 15 of the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework) and the tax and contract records of the subscribing company. Those records do not include the content of your conversations.
Beyond deletion, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability and withdrawal of consent under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018). Use the same e-mail address above. What we process and why is described in the Privacy Policy.
KarkCRM is the platform that hosts the data. When the request comes from someone served by a client company, that company is the data controller and we act as processor on its instructions.
